Welfare Party Of India Announces Three Candidates From Kerala

Welfare Party of India released its first list of three candidates contesting from Kerala in the coming parliamentary election. Party state general secretary K. Ambujakshan will contest from Chalakkudi, state treasurer Prof. P. Ismail from Malappuram and state working committee member Smt Priya Sunil from Attingal. The names of the candidates were made public at conventions held separately in the three constituencies. Hundreds of Welfare Party workers gathered at the convention centres with high spirits and enthusiasm. The convention of Chalakkudi constituency held at Angamali was inaugurated by P.C. Hamza, national general secretary, Malappuram constituency convention at Malappuram by Thennilapuram Radhakrishnan, state vice-president and Attingal convention at Attingal by K.A. Shafeeq, state secretary. At all these conventions, chairman, convenor and members were elected for 16 sub-committees like finance, public relation, media, squads, legal affairs, social media, women's participation, publicity programmes, booth centred activities, accommodation, volunteers, publication, research & survey, cultural wing, transportation etc.......

 Abdul Hameed Vaniyambalam, state president in a statement said the Welfare Party will try to form a third option to the Left Democratic and United Democratic fronts led by the CPM and the Congress. He also made it clear that the Party is in touch with likeminded organizations and will announce the names for the remaining constituencies soon.
