Welfare Party Kerala State Committee Alleges Rail Budget 2014 A Clan...

Thiruvananthapuram: 12th February, 2014.
Welfare Party of India Kerala state general secretary K. Ambujakashan alleged that the union rail budget 2014 introduced by Mr. Mllikarjuna Kharge will bring more burden on common people and will cause gradual collapse of the prestigious public sector undertaking. The provision for fare revision on the basis of fuel price will cause intermittent hike in railway ticket. The minister’s announcement that the government is seriously seeking the option of foreign direct investment will eventually lead to the total surrender of this public sector to foreign capital forces. As usual, the state of Kerala has been neglected in all senses in this budget also. The vast area of Malabar deprived of adequate rail connectivity and facility  has even not come to the care and concern  of the minister. Not a single train has been allotted benefitting the Malabar region. The eight ministers from Kerala on various capacities in the central ministry and the members of parliament in the two houses have been exhibiting criminal oblivion. He asked the state government and all members of both houses of parliament to use their full force and   influence to get justice by accepting the due demands of the state before the interim budget gets passed in the session.
