Welfare Party of India demands action against diamond export firm in...
New Delhi: 22nd May, 2015. Welfare Party of India asked the centre and Maharashtra state governments to take strong action including suspension of license of the Mumbai diamond export firm Hare Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd with offices around the world for frankly denying job for a Muslim MBA candidate on religious bias. Party national Assistant Secretary Sajeed K said that such action is highly shameful, disgusting and unacceptable in a nation where all are bound to follow the law of the land that ensures equal treatment and no discrimination on the basis of religion, caste, gender etc. It cannot be seen as an isolated incident but is the outburst due to the hate campaign triggered by rightwing saffron elements soon after Modi came to power. Mr. Sajeed in his letter asked National Human Rights and Minorities Commissions to investigate the matter and ensure that penal action is taken against the firm and that justice is delivered to Zishan Ali Khan the candidate.
