New Delhi:25th August, 2017. Welfare Party of India extended welcome to the 9-judge Supreme Court bench unanimous verdict that Right to Privacy is a Fundamental Right that needs absolute protection of the Constitution. Party national president Dr. S.Q.R. Ilyas in a statement said the verdict is a slap for the apathetic attitude of the central BJP government that made Adhar compulsory not only for concessions and services of the government but for every day today dealings of individuals. “The Court has made it clear that the Right to Privacy is inherent as per Article 21 of the Constitution that guarantees fundamental right of a decent and dignified life for the citizens.
